Spend a weekend with me in Paris, a lovely place to visit before the hustle and bustle of the Christmas holidays. I will be sharing a run down of my Paris trip and recommendations below.
“There are only two places in the world where we can live happy – at home and in Paris”.
– Ernest Hemingway
HOTEL
We stayed at an lovely boutique hotel near to the Arc de Triumph called Residence Foch. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Parisian streets.
It was a great location and walking distance to a lot of the hotspots, very close to the metro too which links the city up so well.
NIGHT ONE
Dinner at Matignon
Amazing for a party vibe, food was great, can get really dressed up when going here. The restaurants in Paris have very late sittings, our table was at 11pm which was perfect for our evening Eurostar across to Paris. There is also a club underneath the restaurant where there have been a lot of well known names perform.
DAY 1
Coffee at Pergo’s
A nice coffee shop around the corner from the hotel, seats outside are great for watching the day go by.
Visit to the Arc Du Triomphe
Wander down the Champs-Elysées
A Visit to the Christmas Markets en Route to the Louvre
